Physics

Physics is the study of the fundamental laws that govern energy, matter, and the universe, from the smallest particles to the largest cosmic structures. It provides the tools to understand how the natural world works, explaining phenomena ranging from motion and forces to electricity, magnetism, waves, and the behaviour of energy in everyday life. GCSE Physics challenges students to think critically, apply mathematical reasoning, and use logical problem-solving to explain natural phenomena. Through a combination of theoretical learning and practical experiments, students develop analytical skills, investigative techniques, and scientific literacy. The course also encourages learners to connect physics concepts to real-world applications, such as renewable energy technologies, medical imaging, communication systems, and space exploration. By studying Physics, students gain a strong foundation for STEM-related subjects and careers while developing transferable skills such as critical thinking, quantitative analysis, and evidence-based reasoning, all of which are valuable in higher education and beyond.

iGCSE Physics

iGCSE Physics offers a global approach to scientific study with flexible assessment models. Topics include mechanics, energy transfers, waves, electricity, and atomic physics. Students are encouraged to think independently, analyse data, and apply physics to real-world contexts. This qualification is suitable for learners worldwide and supports progression to advanced science courses.
